What we’ll be covering in the lecture:

·      Getting started with beekeeping

·      Hardware, tools, and protection

·      Bee biology & bee behavior

What we’ll be covering in the colony:

·      How to read a frame? We’re going to look through a healthy colony or two and make some observations.

·      Hands on colony inspection. Identify the brood and bees in all stages, and the different parts of the comb (honey, bee bread, brood).
