·      Tips for a good Honey crop

·      Honey Harvest Prep

What we’ll be covering in the colony inspection:

·      How to do a mite wash. This is the time of year when we’ll see an uptick in mites. We need measure as starting point before treatments.

·      How to make a viable split. There are many ways to go about this, I show the easy ways to make a split with success.

There is lecture followed by a hands-on activity in the bee yard.

Class participation requires that you have your own bee suit.
